Celebrating Creativity with Able Orchestra at Fletcher’s in Nottingham!
We’re thrilled to share a glimpse into the inspiring Able Orchestra 360 project, where music, digital art, and creativity came together in a heartwarming performance at Fletcher’s Theatre, Nottingham. This event, held in November 2025, was a beautiful culmination of weeks of hard work by the talented young members of the Able Orchestra.
For those who may not be familiar, Able Orchestra is an inclusive music and digital arts initiative run by Inspire Youth Arts under Nottinghamshire Music Hub. It gives young people aged 11-25 the chance to develop their skills and confidence through accessible music and digital art. And the best part? Everyone gets to shine.
At Fletcher’s, the Able Orchestra members truly did just that. They performed original compositions they’d created themselves, weaving together themes of changing seasons and the magic of musical connection. The atmosphere was filled with creativity, warmth, and community spirit, and it was a joy to be part of it.
As co-leads, Tom Shawcroft and our very own Jude Winwood helped guide the project, but the spotlight was always on the young musicians themselves. Their dedication, creativity, and collaboration made the final performance something truly special.
We’re so proud to have been part of this journey and to see how inclusive arts can bring people together and let every voice be heard. For more on Able Orchestra and what they do, check out Inspire Youth Arts and stay tuned for more Creative Connections adventures!
