BeatFeet - Working with our community

BeatFeet are located in Nottingham in the East Midlands and we enjoy providing an exciting and diverse timetable of community-based drumming, dance and wellbeing workshops and events. We collaborate alongside community-based organisations, such as LW Arts CIC and When Women Gather CIC organisations which receive funding support from various local and national funding bodies. Community workshops either take place at our base at CommuniTree At Clarendon Chambers in Nottingham city centre, or out in the community in community centres and other venues.

BeatFeet projects have been kindly supported by Arts Council England.

Certain workshops amongst our range of community sessions are for women only and this is always noted in event descriptions. We run these in association with When Women Gather, a Nottingham-based organisation providing inspiring workshops, talks and events all centred around physical, mental and emotional well-being and resilience. Women are invited to join certain groups for global-inspired percussion and dance sessions.

A full list of workshops can be found in the events section of our BeatFeet Facebook page. BeatFeet workshops cover many genres and are suitable for suitable for complete beginners right up to more seasoned music-makers and dancers. Visit the social media accounts below to find out more:
