Exciting News! BeatFeet Awarded Arts Council England Grant for "Creative Connections"!

We’re pleased to share that BeatFeet has been awarded funding from Arts Council England for a new project in 2025—Creative Connections.

This project will bring together creative practitioners in Nottingham to work with children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and their families. Through a programme of creative and cultural activities, Creative Connections will provide opportunities for expression, exploration and shared experiences.

About the Project

Creative Connections will run throughout 2025, offering music, movement, and sensory arts sessions designed to encourage participation and creativity. The project will focus on bringing people together through the arts, ensuring that children with SEND and their families can access high-quality creative opportunities within their communities.

Developing Inclusive Creative Practice

As part of this work, we will be exploring and promoting inclusive approaches to creative practice. The project will also support emerging artists, who will have the chance to develop their own practice and deliver sessions under the guidance of the BeatFeet team.
